The road to hell is paved with works-in-progress…

I know I have mentioned it before, but I am going to say it again…writing a blog is hard! And time consuming.

I know my two besties, who flew home yesterday, will wake up today expecting to see a wonderful, funny, fact-filled blog about our weekend together in the Nation’s Capitol. Well, it’s a work in progress. I’ve gotten started, but have had to stop because I have two dogs who have felt a bit neglected over the weekend wanting to go to the p.a.r.k. I also have laundry to do, groceries to buy (why yes, they did eat me out of house and home) and that sort of thing.

Rather than leave today’s post a complete blank, I give you this to ponder….

Really? What are they looking at?

  1. ...the German satellite falling to earth?...

My doggies hate it when we mess with their routine. I'm always saying to the Little Woman, "Honey, don't mess with our routine."

  2. From where they are I would say the Korean Vet Memorial. The one with the soldiers running through the gardens. I always liked that one :)

  3. The incredibly phallic Washington Monument?

Seriously, I took pics of that thing and I had to get rid of 90% of them because it just looks like a giant you know what.

Glad you had fun with the besties. Too bad they eat so much!
