Mumblings and rumblings…

As you can see on the little countdown up there, there are only 2 days left until Christmas! I have all my shopping done, all the presents wrapped, and all the cookies baked. I feel good.

Well, I was feeling good, until last night, when I dropped my iPhone in the bathtub.

Do you know how much fun it’s going to be at the AT&T store, 2 days before Christmas, getting a new cell phone?

I may have to start drinking. Right now.

And no, I cannot wait until after Christmas. I have become like every other person on the planet, I have to stay connected.  Okay, maybe not connected, but it’s my turn on Words with Friends.

  1. Uh, iPhones and water don't mix very well and AT&T 2 days before Xmas, not on a dare.

    Merry Christmas

  2. Oh man, that's crazy and sucks, but at least you got it handled now! At least you got it all replaced before Christmas even if you had to stand in line and deal with crowds. Yikes.

  3. I know how you hate crowds - that sucks. I'm glad you are still connected in all ways that count, i.e. updating your blog!

  5. Last Christmas I dropped my phone in the toilet - after I peed. Yep.

  6. Did you already do the "put it in a tupperware full of raw rice" yet? That little trick has saved many a device in our house. I will cross my fingers for you.

I miss the good old days when you used to just drop a BOOK in the tub or toilet.

  10. Look at it this way - you'll have the latest model for Christmas and the New Year! Or do they fix the old one you have? Sometimes I think they need to have a little bungee cord on those things.

Merry Christmas with your new phone!
