Did you know…?

…buzzards are legally classified as songbirds in Ohio?

…chewing gum can help improve your memory?

…70% of pet owners sign their pet’s names on greeting cards? My girls send their own cards.

…in 1909, Alice Ramsey was the first woman to drive across the United States? It took 59 days.

…about 15% of the population of New Orleans practices voodoo?

…dogs have fewer than 2,000 taste buds, while humans have about 9,000? That explains a lot!

…you share your birthday with at least 9 million other people?

…that over the weekend CGMan will be celebrating his 50th birthday? I’m giving him gum.

…that 50 doesn’t sound near as old as it did 20 years ago?

  1. Amen to the last one!! (My guy turns that same number in October and he's as fun as ever!)

  2. The big 5.0. It doesn't hurt for the first few days but after there is a nagging hangover. :) Happy Birthday CGman.

  3. Whew, happy birthday CG Man!

And Lona usually signs our Christmas cards, too. Why not, she's part of the family, right?

  4. Happy birthday CG Man!

And I'm sorry, buzzards are in no way songbirds. They are from the devil. And I'm only partly joking there.

  5. I don't sign my pets names on the cards. (I get most of my cards from snapfish with my pets' pictures on the front of them.)

    Happy birthday to CG Man.

  6. Alice Ramsey is my new hero, I love me a road trip. Our fortunate choice of a 12 hour mystery (on Audiobook) from Cracker Barrel made out trip from Detroit to Sandusky to Asheville fly by with a minimum of complaints from the 2 teen girls.Amazing.

I would love to hear what you have to say!
