It’s time to renew…

It’s that time of year. The time to renew the Costco cards, get the car inspected and tagged, renew my awesome domain name and take the annual membership pictures. By that I mean, the annual Texas membership pictures:

If you want to live in Texas, you have to take your baby’s picture in the bluebonnets every year.
It’s a rule.

  2. That is true! I have cousins that have baby pictures taken in the bluebells! Those are really good pictures and I am so impressed that the dogs are sitting there letting you take their picture and not rolling all over the flowers. I have dog envy.

Thanks for reminding me. Time to renew the domain name.

  4. As of last year, I officially became a member of Texas. This past weekend I renewed my membership, along with giving a guest pass to my in-laws. I'll have to post those pics on my blog now as proof. LOVE that the dogs were cooperative.

  5. At least you can get your dogs to sit. The only time my dog stops moving is when she's sleeping. I do have a whole lot of blurry photos though!

  6. I've heard of that whole "baby in the bluebonnets" thing in Texas, but I've never really understood it, until now. Can I say that your "babies" look adorable in the bluebonnets? You and CGMan aren't too bad either. :)

  8. Adorable babies you've got there, and so well behaved too.

I have to say, being from Canada, I'd never heard of this "rule" before. I'm always learning here :)

  11. If my dogs were that good looking, I'd be taking their pictures every day.

I'm not going to comment on your flowers. I'm bitter, because we had a blizzard yesterday.

  13. I am sooooo pleased that you took these pictures. I've been curious about Texas Bluebonnets ever since I heard the song Gulf Coast Highway in college. It's by Nanci Griffith in case you haven't ever heard it. So I've been curious, but lazy. Very very lazy.

    Love the pups!

  14. Thanks for the heads up on that tradition as it seriously looks like we may move to Austin this summer. Being from Michigan, I need to know these things.
