Curiosity is a willing confession of ignorance.

And sometimes “Ignorance is bliss”

The other day, CGMan and I were walking around his backyard, looking at all the pretty plants and flowers. I knelt down and picked up what I thought was a black seed pod from one of the plants. As I turned it around in my fingers, I asked him, “Hey, what’s this? It kinda looks like a dried up slug.”

His answer was a deadpan- “It is a dried up slug.”

slugjerky

EEWW!!!

I’m ready to come home!
Slugs don’t turn into jerky crossing the sidewalk at home.

  1. Slug jerky. I'll bet that's a delicacy somewhere. But then again, I'm sure pickled monkey balls are a delicacy somewhere, too.

  5. I did the same thing, except it was dog poop, last week. Not too hard to believe since that's what my life has become.
