Nurse Goodbody on duty…again…

The surgery to remove CGMan’s prostate went very well. Thank you all for the healing thoughts and warm wishes. It made all the difference!

Hopefully, we’ll get to go home today. This hospital is great. They let me stay the night in his room. The chair had a fold out bed and I actually slept really well. I’m sure I’ll need that battery recharge, because my work will start in earnest once we get home.

I don’t even need to explain further, because those of you who have been married long enough to suffer through experience at least one cold & flu season, know exactly what I’m talking about. Even my blogger friend, who’s never been married but just moved in with her beloved, was smart enough to suggest that I NOT give CGMan a bell.

Now, if I could just get him to wake up from his nap so he can walk, walk, walk, like he was instructed, we could make it home before happy hour rush hour. *sigh*

  1. Guys and nurses are the worst patients...

  2. Glad the surgery went well, and hope that he'll have a speedy recovery, which means a speedy return to normal. :)

  3. Great news, Good luck to the both of you. Keep your chin up :) this to shall pass. Things always change and I have spent more nights in a hospital on those converter chairs than I care to remember. I'd much rather be the nurse at home than to watch the nurses at the hospital do it. Footballs coming just keep thinking about that and it will help the both of you get thru all this faster. Prayers.

I would love to hear what you have to say!
